The Bulbox was primarily designed to protect guns from damage and thieves, while being transported to and from shoots, in the car.

I suddenly realized one day, leaving my gun in the car to pay for petrol was not really a good idea. So I decided to buy one for the car but the only gun protection safe you could buy opened from the top and was just a security cabinet on its back. So I decided to design my own. But mine would be a drawer so that you could still throw ‘stuff’ on top of it, wax jackets, wellington's, the wet dog! And my gun inside the drawer was kept clean, dry, and safe from damage.

 We keep our guns locked up in a gun security cabinet at home, made to a BSI 7558 standard, so it doesn't seem to us, to be very safety conscious to leave a gun on the back seat covered with wax jacket when you go to pay for petrol or buy a newspaper or drink. 

We believe that whether we like it or not, sooner or later, legislation will say that any of us traveling with our guns will have to keep it locked up securely even in the car, a steel lockable secure cabinet is already highly recommended by many police forces in the uk

 You look after your guns, cleaning and polishing them to keep them in good working order, so don’t give the opportunist thief a chance to spoil them, feel more comfortable and have peace of mind, about your weapons being safe at all times, and lock them in a Bulbox gun security cabinet for cars when they are in your car.
